AN ARREST has been made after a police helicopter helped locate a wanted person along the river in Winsford.
A police helicopter was dispatched at around 4pm today to assist officers in a search along the River Weaver.
A 16-year-old boy was found at Weaver Valley and has been arrested for suspicion of assault, public order offence, and failure to appear in court.
Chief Inspector Simon Meagan said: "After searching the Weaver Valley area for a short time, officers, supported by air support, caught and arrested a 16-year-old male for these offences."
