AN exhibition is up and running at Winsford Library, showing an insight into a Kenyan tribe who inspired an artist earlier this year.
Samantha Adams has created models of the Maasai Warriors, who sang and danced at St Chad’s Church on a visit to Winsford in September.
The models, along with plenty of information on the warriors and a cause that is helping schools in Kenya, are now on display at Winsford Library until December 31.
The exhibition is free to enter.
Samantha said: “I made the models after they came to St Chad’s. It was a marvellous event and it inspired me. They jump right up in the air, and so I made them with really long legs.
“I have got the exhibition open and the comments I have had are wonderful, and the children have been asking questions.”
