A WINSFORD man has been arrested in relation to drug supply after police found drugs and an air pistol during an early morning drugs bust.

Officers carried out two search warrants shortly after 8am this morning, Friday, at addresses in Brindley Avenue and Tatton Close in Winsford.

The warrant was conducted as part of an ongoing operation to tackle drug supply in the Winsford area.

A quantity of Class B drugs were seized from the properties, along with an air pistol. There was also evidence of Class A drug supply.

A 35-year-old Winsford man has been arrested in relation to drug supply offences.

Sgt Danny Haddock said: “Northwich Local Policing Unit remain committed to targeting those people that undermine our communities and bring misery to residents through their involvement in organised crime and illegal drugs.

“These crimes can have a major impact on local communities we will continue to trace those responsible for drug supply in our communities.”
