ARTISTS in Winsford are asking members of the public for help and guidance with their new Winsford High Street art project.
Members of the Crosshatch Gallery and Rocksalt Heritage Community Project are creating mural boards top put up in Winsford Cross Shopping Centre on Queens Parade.
Derek Johnson, from the Crosshatch Gallery, said: “We have started a map across the mural boards in the Shopping Centre on Queens Parade that chart the changing businesses of Winsford.
“We would like to develop this with pictures, stories, drawings and anything else that helps to recreate the wonder that was Winsford back in the day.”
Members of the gallery are asking people to make suggestions by calling into the gallery in Queens Parade on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday mornings.
