ST LUKE’S Hospice’s Furniture Warehouse will be holding two open days to give people an insight into life as a volunteer.
The two open days will be held on Friday, September 9, and Saturday, September 10, between 10am and 2pm at the furniture warehouse in Road One, Winsford Industrial Estate.
The open days are designed to give a taste of volunteering to those who may be interested in giving up some of their time to help the hospice.
Pamela Ford, volunteer co-ordinator at St Luke’s, said: “We are looking for volunteers to join our friendly warehouse team and really hope people will use the recruitment days to come and see how they could help, no matter how much time they are able to give. Our volunteers are an integral part of St Luke’s and we couldn’t do what we do without them.”
Both days will give ladies and gents who are considering volunteering the opportunity to drop in for a chat with the team, to have a look around and see how they could get involved.
