WINSFORD charity the Neuromuscular Centre has confirmed Louise Minchin as guest speaker for its Autumn Ladies’ Lunch later this year.
Louise, BBC Breakfast anchor and Celebrity Masterchef finalist, will share stories of her life and career with guests at MacDonald Portal Hotel in Tarporley on October 19.
Ladies are invited to join the charity at the Westminster Suite of the hotel’s Premier Golf Club from midday, with a range of luxury stalls selling shoes, gifts and accessories.
A two-course lunch and coffee will be served at 1pm, before Louis speaks from 2pm.
A NMC spokesperson said: “We are delighted that Louise is taking time out of her exceptionally busy schedule to entertain us with stories of her life and career.”
The charity has a number of other events lined up this year, including a wine tasting and dinner evening at Chester Racecourse on September 23 and a James Bond-themed murder mystery on November 11.
The NMC provides a range of services for people with muscular dystrophy, and is the only centre of its kind in Europe.
