GROUPS and organisations in Winsford are being asked to apply to the town council for a grant before the end of next month.
Winsford Town Council has more than £30,000 which it gives to various organisations each year to assist them in operating. The council also provides smaller grants to groups and individuals to help with events and other initiatives they might be planning.
The next meeting of the town council’s grants sub-committee will take place on August 31 at 3.30pm, at Wyvern House.
Anyone interested in applying for a grant should fill in one of the application forms, which can be found at winsford.gov.uk, and submitted to the council by August 30.
