Swanlow Medical Centre, Winsford, evacuated for threat of gas leak
THE Swanlow Medical Centre in Dene Drive, Winsford, was evacuated due to a potential gas leak today.
Vandals have pulled out venting pipes to the boiler room at the GPs practice, causing potential for a gas leak.
The practice was evacuated and patients were sent away until the issue is resolved.
Dr Jonathan Griffiths, GP at Swanlow Medical Centre, tweeted at around 11.30am today: “Dene Drive Primary Care Centre evacuated because of gas leak. We are sending patients away until resolved.
“Vandals have pulled out venting pipes to our boiler room. Surgery evacuated due to potential gas leak.”
The practice was soon reopened after the threat of a gas leak was eliminated.
