MEADOW Bank Methodist Chapel is set to be demolished due to the ‘poor and unsafe condition’ of the building.
A planning application has been submitted to Cheshire West and Chester Council to receive permission to demolish the chapel in School Lane, Winsford.
A statement submitted to the council said: “We would appreciate a go ahead on the planning to demolish the building as soon as possible due to the poor and unsafe condition of it.”
If the demolition is approved, the site will be cleared and stoned to make a level surface.
