RAYMOND the pug from Winsford is the latest four-legged friend to be voted as the daily winner of Taylor Wimpey’s Pets Make A Home photo competition.

The housebuilder’s third annual Pets Make A Home competition is encouraging pet owners around the country to submit photographs of their animal friends in their homes or gardens, with a new winner chosen every day by public vote.

Sarah Tomlinson, 39, from Winsford, submitted a photograph of her pug Raymond and he has now been voted as a daily winner after Sarah submitted an adorable photo of Raymond all dressed up for a special evening out.

Sarah is a trustee and long-term foster carer for a charity called The Pug Dog Welfare & Rescue Association, and took Raymond into her care just over a year ago.

Sarah said: “He came into care last year aged almost 14 with a cancer tumour which meant we couldn’t adopt him, so I took him in as a long term foster.

“The tumour has now gone and apart from very wobbly back legs he is as good as new, thanks to the wonderful vet team at The Willows.

“Raymond’s a real character and he’s very popular. He has his own Facebook page and we’ve had mugs made with his picture on and sell them to raise funds for the charity.”
