PHONE lines to GP surgeries in Cheshire have been restored.
Lines were down at a number of practices yesterday but these are now back to normal.
A statement issued by NHS South Cheshire and Vale Royal Clinical Commissioning Groups said: "Telephone lines to all GP practices in South Cheshire and Vale Royal have now been restored and patients are able to phone for appointments as normal.
"We apologise for the difficulties experienced over the last 24 hours and want to reassure our patients that we have been working with our providers throughout the night to restore the telephony.
"Thank you for your patience."
