A WINSFORD vet will be examining time travel when a new charity pantomime opens next week.

Over Players’ latest production, Touchstones, begins a four-night run at the United Reformed Church, Winsford, from Wednesday, February 3 until Saturday, February 6.

Doors open for the play, written and directed by High Street resident Lynn Hughes, at 7pm each night for a 7.30pm start.

The cast includes Fiona Hughes, Winsford branch manager of Willows veterinary surgery, Oliver Bancroft, head of music at E-Act Academy and Ian Anstice, locality Librarian for Winsford and Northwich and John Farrell, a sales rep for Oakwood Mobility.

Fiona said: “We are a group of amateurs who have enjoyed performing for many years. In that time we have raised thousands of pounds and hopefully a good number of laughs along the way.”

The show will also feature Matthew Cummins, of Barclays, who for several years have boosted the production’s funds via their Pound For Pound match-funding scheme.

The show runs with tickets priced £7 for adults and £5 for children. All tickets for the opening night are £5. Refreshments are available each night, along with a fundraising raffle.

All proceeds will go to Millie’s Trust, a charity making first aid more widely and economically available. To book tickets for the shows, contact Rob Bebbington on 01606 557631.
