STRICTLY Come Dancing fans are being urged to step up and learn to dance like the stars for St Luke’s Hospice.

The Winsford-based hospice is dusting off the glitter balls and looking for couples and individuals to put their best feet forward and take part in its third annual ‘Strictly Learn to Dance’ competition.

Up to 20 couples are needed for this year’s event, and it doesn’t matter if they’re hot stuff on the dancefloor or have two left feet.

next month, each participant will receive eight weeks of expert training from champion Latin American dancer Toni Franchitti to transform them into confident, graceful performers.

The couples will then get strut their stuff in front of family and friends at a fundraising grand finale on Saturday, November 21, at the Lyceum in Crewe.

Catherine Moore, senior events fundraiser said: “Learning to dance is a great way to keep fit, make friends, have fun, and raise funds for a vital cause in our local community.

“All we ask is that each dancer, either individually or as part of a couple, aims to raise a minimum of £350 in sponsorship.”
