WINSFORD Fire Station is opening its doors to the public to give them an insight into the vital work they carry out on a daily basis.
The event will take place on Saturday, July 25 from 10.30am until 3.30pm at the Fire Station on Sadler Road in Winsford and everyone is welcome.
There will be plenty to keep visitors entertained, including a kitchen safety vehicle and a road traffic collision demonstration.
There will be a number of displays including the chance to look round a variety of modern and vintage fire and rescue vehicles.
Andy Palmer, a firefighter and organiser of the event, said: "This is a great way for the community to discover more about their local station.
“We would like as many people as possible to come along to the open day, have a great time and leave with some vital safety messages.”
Refreshments will be available on the day, including ice cream and icy drinks. A donation will be required to purchase these.Admission is free for all.
