A PENSIONER was rushed to hospital after he was hit by a car while crossing the road in Winsford.
The collision occurred around 10.05am on Monday, July 13 at the junction of Dene Drive and Queensway in Winsford Town Centre.
During the incident a man, 81, who was crossing Dene Drive in the direction of the doctors surgery, collided with a red Vauxhall Corsa.
He was taken to North Staffordshire Hospital, where his condition is described as non-life threatening.
Cheshire Roads Policing Team is appealing for information following the serious pedestrian road traffic collision.
Anyone with information in relation to the incident is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 258 of July 13, 2015.
