St LUKE’S Cheshire Hospice will host a charity motorcycle and scooter ride this weekend.
The event, which is now in its fifth year, will take place on Sunday, June 28.
Motorcycle and scooter clubs from Cheshire, including the South Cheshire Motorcycle Club, and North Staffordshire will come together to support the Winsford hospice.
The ride will leave St Luke’s Hospice premises on Road One, Winsford Industrial Estate at noon, taking a picturesque route through the Cheshire countryside.
The ride will conclude at Crewe Heritage Centre, where they will be met by the mayor of Crewe.
They will be lead by ‘Luke’ the hospice’s red London bus.
The riders will be directed by marshals placed at all significant roundabouts and junctions along the route. All riders will be expected to be road legal and abide by the Highway Code.
There will be a free draw and auction shortly after the riders arrive at about 1.15pm for items donated by local motorcycle dealers and other businesses, for those with an entry ticket.
The event is open to all types of motorcycles, scooters and mopeds. Entry is £5 per bike.
