ELDERLY residents of a Winsford care home tuned back the clock with a VE Day afternoon tea dance.
Winsford Grange Care Home held the dance as part of a three day commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe.
Residents put on their dancing shoes to jive to some classics from the 40s.
“We were there, waving our flags,” Kim Hollinshead, activity co-ordinator, said.
“Some of our residents were only children when all this was going on. Others were working in the forces.
“Not everyone could come up to dance, but those who could had a lovely time.”
