A WINSFORD charity will hold an afternoon tea event in June.

The NeuroMuscular Centre’s first ladies event of 2015 is an afternoon tea hosted by the Original Mad Hatters Tea Room, Davenports, Northwich, on Wednesday, June 3, from 2pm-4pm.

Davenports Farm Shop and Tea Rooms, which are winners of the prestigious Top Tea Place awards, are located on the A49 in Bartington near Northwich.

A spokesman for The NeuroMuscular Centre said: “This unique and inspirational charity costs £850,000 a year to run, and attending one of our fundraising events is just one of the many ways you can support us.

“Afternoon tea includes a selection of delicate sandwiches with the crusts cut off, delicious homemade cakes and scones served on old fashioned china tiered cake stands accompanied by loose leaf tea or Artisan coffee.

“There will also be talks and demonstrations by Clinique in Chester, Cheshire Beauty Barn Laundry Boutique in Northwich, which will be providing beauty and fashion tips for the summer season.

“There will also be plenty of time to shop afterwards.”

Tickets are £25 per person, which includes full afternoon tea followed by talks and demonstrations from a range of organisations in beauty and fashion.
