WINSFORD Guardian readers have been sharing their pictures of this morning's solar eclipse.
Thousands of people across the country viewed the eclipse and although there was some cloud cover over Cheshire, the sky eerily dimmed and the temperature dropped.

The UK will not see a solar eclipse on this scale again until August 2026. The phenomenon happens when the moon passes between the Sun and the Earth.
