TWO Winsford Academy students are planning to get into the groove at an 80s disco night to fund a trip to Borneo to help disadvantaged families.
Amy Jones, 14, and Katie Foye, 15, have organized a number of fundraising events in the last few months in order to travel with Winsford Academy for the trip to Borneo in the summer of 2016.
The 80s fancy dress disco and quiz night is set to take place on Saturday, March 7 at Knights Grange, Grange Lane, Winsford.
Amy’s mum, Lisa Tydd said: “Tickets are just £3 and there is a prize for the best fancy dress costume. They’ll be lots of 80s music to get down as well as a raffle and quiz.
“The month-long trip to Borneo is entirely funded by the students so please come along and help support the girls.”
Recent events the girls have held include a sponsored dog walk, a bingo evening, a physcic evening and car boot sales.
If anyone would like to attend or would like to help Amy and Katie with their fundraising email Mrstydd@aol.com for tickets or call 07875976016.
Tickets can also be purchased from Knights Grange.
