A MUM-OF-TWO from Winsford has fought the flab on her way to losing an incredible eight stone since January.

Jenni McFeat, 31, caught the fitness bug after winning six training sessions from Winsford personal trainer, Anthony Foy, last Christmas.

Jenni began the sessions a bloated 18 stone, and in just 11 months the dental centre practice support manager has slimmed down to ten stone.

“The first couple of weeks were really hard,” she said. “I considered not going back but the results kept me going. That’s what made me want to do stick at it.

“It’s hard work but you want it more when you see the results. I go five times a week and have two sessions with Anthony.

“It’s difficult fitting it all around work and looking after my children but I try to go in the mornings. I try to find time.”

Jenni says it was her two children, who are aged 5 and 7, who inspired her to lose the weight as she wanted to set a good example for them.

“I needed to do it for them. They’ve never been prouder. They’re eating really healthily now and even want to join the gym,” she said.

While Jenni was the one who put her body through the pains and hardships to keep reaching her goals, she knows Anthony’s help was invaluable.

“I wouldn’t have been able to do it without him,” she said. “If I didn’t have Anthony, I would have started in January and I would have quit by February. I owe everything to him.”

Anthony, who trains out of Funk Fitness in Winsford, says he has been blown away by Jenni’s determination and commitment.

Though the 26-year-old admitted he initially questioned whether Jenni would keep up the sessions.

He said: “I wouldn’t have been surprised if she dropped off to be honest. It takes a lot of motivation to do what she’s done. It’s amazing.

“She had points where she wanted to give up but she pushed herself to do it. She’s come a long way but there’s still work to do.”
