THOUSANDS of bargain hunters are set to flock to stores for what has been billed as the biggest Black Friday discount bonanza ever.

Asda has doubled its Black Friday range and has boosted the number of products on offer from half a million to 700,000 - taking place in 441 stores over the next two days.

The flash sale extravaganza has already kicked off and shelves will be replenished with deals on brand new products the following day, giving customers double the chance to save millions.

Asda has record-breaking prices across TVs, mobile phones, tablets, toys and more, hot deals on Friday include Seiki 4K LED TVs at just £299; the lowest price anywhere in the world and a 40” Polaroid LED TVs at £139.

Among the deals tomorrow will be a 7-inch Archos tablet, which is the lowest priced Google accredited tablet at a jaw-dropping £29.

Andrew Moore, Asda’s chief merchandising officer for George and general merchandise said: “Our products and prices for Black Friday this year are bigger and better than ever before and we have something for everyone from branded TVs, £29 tablets and toys to power tools.

"We are anticipating this will be our busiest shopping weekend of the year so far.

“Black Friday for us is not a watered down, pale imitation and a way to get rid of clearance items – our range and stores have all the gusto of the US experience and you’d be crazy to miss it.”

Originally an American craze, Black Friday has swept across the UK and Europe in recent years, and this year's sales extravaganza is predicted to be the biggest yet.

Analysts Verdict have predicted that 47 per cent of the UK's shoppers will pick up a bargain tomorrow while Visa Europe has forecast that the country's shoppers will spend £360,000 a minute on their cards.
