TOWN centre rehearsal space and community instrument loans were music to the ears of Winsford residents last weekend.
Bandedge Resurrected were at their base in the former Connexions unit in the Winsford Cross Shopping Centre on Saturday singing the praises of local bands and artists.
The group held an open day between 11am-4pm to showcase the services available to aspiring musical Winsfordians.
Trustee, Rob Allen, explained: “We are a non-profit, charitable organisation dedicated to bringing music to the community, offering music lessons and instrument loan to those who may not be able to afford the cost of private lessons or to buy an instrument.
“The tutors are volunteers who are experienced musicians passing on their knowledge.
“We also offer a fully equipped rehearsal facility for musicians in return for donation towards our running costs.”
Saturday’s event featured live music and trial lessons, as well as free hot dogs and refreshments.
