A WINSFORD project that provides instruments and rehearsal space to local music groups and singers will hold an open day this weekend.

Bandedge Resurrected are a non-profit, charitable organisation dedicated to bringing music to the community.

This Saturday, October 18, Bandedge Resurrected will hold an open day between 11am-4pm at the old Connexions unit in the Winsford Cross Shopping Centre, 24-26 Queens Parade.

Trustee, Rob Allen, said: “We are a non-profit, charitable organisation dedicated to bringing music to the community, offering music lessons and instrument loan to those who may not be able to afford the cost of private lessons or to buy an instrument.

“The tutors are volunteers who are experienced musicians passing on their knowledge.

“We also offer a fully equipped rehearsal facility for musicians in return for donation towards our running costs and have been involved in community events such as the Salt Fair and the anti cyber-bullying concert at Winsford Academy."

Saturday’s event will feature live music and trial lessons, as well as the chance to stop off for a cup of tea and a hot dog.
