COUNTRY and Irish singing sensation, Mary Duff, visits Winsford this Saturday, September 13, to perform in the Academy’s brand new theatre.
The Daniel O’Donnell duet partner has just celebrated 25 years in the music industry, during which time she’s won numerous accolades.
The show has been organised by the Mary Duff Appreciation Society – founded by Winsfordians, John and June Roberts in 1993.
June said: “Mary Duff’s phenomenal talent as a singer, together with her great stage presence and charisma is testimony to her quietly powerful and captivating persona.
“She enjoys a dedicated, very supportive following. Mary is seen in the business as an accomplished and highly respected performer. Saturday promises to be a great show.”
Support will come from the Winsford Academy School Choir and up-and-coming local singer, Megan Delaney.
The 16-year-old Mid Cheshire College student is a regular performer at Winsford’s Red Lion and performed during Mary’s show at Llandudno’s Grand Hotel earlier this year.
The concert starts at 7.30pm. For tickets, call 01606 862898 or 07711972364.
