The following day, Sharland’s Family Fun Fair gets underway in Dene Drive car park during the official civic opening at 6pm.

On Saturday, September 20 local musical artists lead by BandEdge Resurrected will perform in honour of the First World War centenary in Winsford town centre between 10am-4pm.

Special displays relating to Winsford’s history and involvement with the First World War will be on display in Saturday and Sunday between 10am-4pm.

People are encouraged to save some room for a bun feast at Winsford Lifestyle Centre between 7-9pm on Saturday, September 20.

The Salt Fair will come to a dramatic climax on Sunday, Spetmeber 21, when a flotilla of more than 40 vessels sail at Winsford Marina during the inaugural Winsford Salt Regatta celebrations, featuring live music and various activities between 10am-4pm.
