A MAD science workshop and creepy crawly show will feature at libraries in Winsford this week.

As part of the mythical maze summer reading challenge 2014, the creepy crawly show will visit Winsford Library between 12noon-1pm on Thursday, August 14.

Kids will be able to get hands on – if they want to – with some of animals including snakes, lizards, scorpions, a tarantula, giant cockroaches, snails, frogs and many more.

The following day, Friday, August 15, Wharton library will hold a mad science workshop.

The science-themed show is designed to amaze and entertain audiences, with eye-catching practical experiments.

Among various spectacular activities, kids can see a foggy dry ice storms, float on a mad science hovercraft, watch a foam factory at work, discover Bernoulli’s principle, make magic mud and alter alter sound waves.

The event is on at the library in Willow Square, CW7 3HP, between 2-4pm.
