CRANAGE Hall is gearing up to host its inaugural ‘Thanks for the Memory’ fundraising concert next month.

In its first year, the ‘Thanks for the Memory’ concert is dedicated to raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society and Nantwich Museum Dementia Friendship Group and will take place on the afternoon of Sunday, May 11.

Families are being invited to bring along relatives with dementia for a trip down memory lane with classics from Vera Lynn, Frank Sinatra and The Beatles, as well as 1960s folk music from acoustic artist Sam Lyon and The Dave Egerton Band.

General manager of Cranage Hall Richard Mansell said: “We are absolutely delighted to be able to support ‘Thanks for the Memories’ and be part of the inaugural concert series.”

The concert will begin at 2pm and tickets cost £6 per person.
