A FAMILY fun day in Winsford this month will raise money for SADS UK to provide life saving defibrillator equipment.
Employees at Payzone in Northwich have organised the event in memory of their colleague, Nischa, who died after collapsing at work last year.
Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome campaigns for more widespread deployment of defibrillators, and increased awareness of sudden cardiac arrest that kills three young people a week on average.
The free fun day between 12noon-6pm on April 19 at the Knights Grange Pub will feature a host of activities, including a bouncy castle, disco, Easter egg hunt, raffle, cake and sweets stalls, penalty shootout contest, games and races.
