TARGETTING nuisance use of off-road motorbikes features in Winsford Police’s priorities for the month ahead.
Issues local officers will focus on for April also include deterring anti-social behaviour during the Easter school holidays.
Winsford Neighbourhood Policing Team inspector, Dave Snasdell, said: “As the weather continues to improve, there have been reports regarding the use of off road bikes in fields adjacent to the River Weaver and Handley Hill common, with bikes being ridden in an inappropriate manner and causing nuisance noise.”
Inspector Snasdell also confirmed that police will provide a high visibility presence around the Wharton Estate, The Drumber and Knights Grange to deter Anti-Social Behaviour during the two week school holiday period.
