A WINSFORD shopping initiative is going UK wide as charities across the country embrace the scheme.

Care2Save.co.uk was established less than a year ago to provide long-term income streams for charities through online shopping.

It now works with a number of prominent charities, including the James Bulger Memorial Trust and the Midlands Air Ambulance Chariity, and encourages supporters to donate to charity at no extra cost while shopping online for high street brands using Care2Save.co.uk.

Andrea Fragata Ladeira, chief executive of Care2Save.co.uk, said: “I am delighted that through partnerships with Care2Save.co.uk we have been able to raise much-needed finds for vital charities such as the James Bulger Memorial Trust and the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, among many other charities that all make a huge difference to the lives of others.”

As a registered charity Care2Save.co.uk takes 100 per cent of the commission generated on purchases made through Care2Save.co.uk.

A total of 80 per cent of the commission made via the Care2Save website will go directly to shoppers’ favourite charity and the remaining 20 per cent goes to charity in the form of the Care2Save Charitable Trust, which will distribute funds to hospices and palliative care projects in the UK and around the world.
