THE Trial of a Winsford man accused of the murder of his wife has been adjourned.
79-year-old Douglas Bailey of Talybont, Rilshaw Lane, Winsford , is charged with the murder of Hazel Bailey, 82.
Mrs Bailey’s body was found at an address on Rilshaw Lane, Winsford, on September 7 2012.
Douglas Bailey was led by a police officer to the dock in Chester Crown Court yesterday, April 16.
The Hon Mr Justice Openshaw resolved to adjourn the case pending completion of a pre-trial report.
Douglas Bailey is to be detained at HMP Altcourse, Fazakerley, Liverpool, until the trial begins.
A date has not yet been set for commencement of the trial.
