A WINSFORD band is targeting success at the first rock and indie festival in Crewe at the end of the month.
The Targets will be joining dozens of bands from across Cheshire in the mainly free Crewe Live 08 line-up over four days.
The Winsford three-piece features front man Conrad Ellis on lead guitar, Sam Bell on bass and Jess Whitmore on drums.
The band have been together for four years and in that time have built up a loyal fan base.
They said: "All of us are best mates and enjoy every minute of playing live, sharing a bath, recording and writing songs. Our style of music is hard to describe, so people should decide for themselves.
"It's always a buzz when you're playing to a crowd who are really up for it and we live for playing live.We enjoy every minute of it."
Crewe Live 08 will feature around 60 bands across seven venues - most of which will be entirely free to watch.
The venues include The M Club, The Box, Square One, The Imperial, The Bank, The Express and The Waldron.
The event will attract thousands of music fans and visitors from across the North West.
The band added: "A lot of people say our music reminds them of 70s punk, which we are always happy to hear.
"It's always a buzz when you're playing to a crowd who are really up for it and we live for playing live, we enjoy every minute of it."
The event is from Friday, May 23 until Monday, May 26 and the Targets play at Square One on Sunday, May 25 at around 3pm.
