AND this week's comedy award goes to Gail for her impression of a constipated hamster (Coronation Street).

The troubled mum went to parenting classes to try to find a way to deal with David Pratt' and to face some of her own failings.

The blas confession that she had brought a serial killer into her children's lives went down a treat with the rest of the group, but the best moment came when she was asked to show how she was feeling, which sparked a most bizarre noise from her lips like the war cry of a small animal.

And with the screwed up face she pulled, she looked like one, too.

Coming a close second in the comedy stakes was Steve, who ended his rant about Bev with the words she's standing behind me, isn't she?' And so she was (as his dad, Jim, might say).

Meanwhile, Tracy and Claire were bonding over a bag of Misshapes.

Now, Tracy might be a bit of a bitch, but if you had the choice of who to spend an evening with, let's face it, she'd win hands down.

Apparently, the scheming wench is plotting to make Charlie look like a possessive, abusive boyfriend - but he's done all that already with Shelley and the response he got from people didn't seem to bother him much then. Perhaps a bullet might make more of an impression There was a shock ending to Casualty as staff were given the news that the department is to be closed! It would be a troubling time for fans, but considering the show isn't about to be axed, we can make a pretty good guess that this most heinous of decisions will be overturned!

When the riot broke out in Holby A&E on Saturday, even I, for a moment, questioned whether St James' might be a better department to keep open, but then the all-powerful Harry swooped in like the hero he is and took control.

With a man like Harry in charge, nothing can go wrong.

Meanwhile, Comfort was whining after being given the opportunity to go to Australia with the man she is in love with. Sheesh, it's a hard life.

I'm surprised it didn't send her back to the bottle.

Finally, I promise to write about EastEnders next week.

I intend to switch to enjoy Ruby making an idiot of herself with super Sean.
