JOSEPH fans have one last weekend to see the man don his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat at the Liverpool Empire.
Any Dream Will Do finalist Craig Chalmers wears the coat that's so bad not even your gran could have knitted it during this two-hour Andrew Lloyd Webber musical extravanganza.
Chalmers stars as Jacob's favourite son who gets secretly sold by his jealous siblings to the Israelites who then lie to Jacob by saying Joseph is dead.
But unbeknown to anyone, Joseph has a special gift - the power to interpret people's dreams - and soon he is proving his worth to both Israel and his family as their country is rocked by famine.
Based on an ancient Bible story, Joseph has been given a new lease of life by Liverpool producer/director Bill Kenwright, who has injected the show with plenty of comedy to go with the impressive visuals, popular songs and several familiar faces from the Beeb's talent-spotting show.
And Wayne Smith, who played the Pharoah aka Elvis, stole the show. He got everyone rocking!
There will be two more productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat at the Liverpool Empire from tonight (Thursday) until Saturday.
