TAKING a break from his TV hosting duties, Dara Ó Briain has returned to his stand-up roots with a tour that is selling fast.

Due to demand, the Irish comedian, known for his fast wit and provocative observations has added extra dates to his Voice Of Reason tour, including three nights at Storyhouse Chester from April 1 to 3.

The tour covers everything from Brexit, President Trump and 'fake news' to virtual reality and the perils of Google.

As well as his stand-up career, Dara is one of the most in demand faces on British TV as host of BBC Two’s hugely successful Mock The Week, Stargazing Live, Robot Wars and Dave’s Go8Bit.

The 46-year-old has also previously released five stand-up DVDs including Crowd Tickler, Craic Dealer, This Is The Show, Dara Ó Briain Talks Funny Live In London and ‘Dara Ó Briain Live at the Theatre Royal.

And in 2017 Dara even became an author when his first children’s book, Beyond The Sky: You and the Universe, was released by Scholastic UK.

Dara's second non-fiction children’s book, Secret Science: The Amazing World Beyond Your Eyes is being released by the same publisher next month.
