BEN Fogle is coming to Warrington to share tales of his adventures all over the world.

The presenter and explorer is hoping to inspire audiences up and down the country with his 25-date Tales From The Wilderness tour.

Ben will be bringing the show to the Parr Hall on March 7, 2019 where he will talk about conquering Mount Everest, rowing the Atlantic Ocean, crossing Antarctica on foot, running across the Sahara and crossing the Empty Quarter on camel.

The 44-year-old has led more than a dozen expeditions including the Black Cat trail across Papua New Guinea, Mount Kilimanjaro, the Mountains of the Moon in Uganda, Kaiteur Falls in Guyana, crossing Spitzbergen, and crossing the Peruvian Amazon.

Ben has also swam from Alcatraz to San Francisco, raced the Gasgoyne Dash rally in Australia, ran the three peaks marathon in the Italian Dolomites, dived in Iceland and flown a fighter jet in the Czech Republic.

Ben always had a taste for adventure. His Latin American Studies at the University of Costa Rica and University of Portsmouth saw him enrol as an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve, as a midshipman.

He then spent several years in Latin America, working on a turtle conservation project on the Mosquito Coast of Honduras and volunteering in an orphanage in Ecuador.

Ben entered the public eye in 2000 when the BBC left him marooned on Taransay, a remote island in the Outer Hebrides as part of the big millennium project Castaway 2000.
