STARS from Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks were among the familiar faces at the launch of the new Inflata Nation in Runcorn on Friday night.

Kym Marsh, 41, was joined by her seven-year-old daughter Polly and son David, 22, at the inflatable park, while former Emmerdale and I’m A Celebrity star Adam Thomas, 29, tackled the inflatable course with his three-year-old son Teddy.

Inflata Nation is only the second of its kind to open in the UK following its launch in Manchester in October.

Among the guests at the pre-opening event were Hollyoaks star and former model Sophie Porley, aka Ellie Nightingale in the Channel 4 soap, Lysette Anthony, Gregory Finnegan, 37, and former Hollyoaks and Strictly star Ashley Taylor Dawson.

They were the first to test out the country’s first giant dual lane drop slide, giant air pillows, assault causes and gladiator duel.

There is also a play area for children under four.

The Cheshire venue boasts the UK’s first ever giant ‘dual lane drop slide’.

Inflata Nation owner Michelle Ball said: “Inflatables never fail to bring out the child in you - and it seems that goes for celebrities too.

“We’re just glad that Kym, Adam and everyone else who joined us for our special launch party had a good time.”

The park, close to Runcorn station, officially opens its doors today, Saturday and also offers fitness classes, disability friendly sessions, grown-ups only sessions, and Inflata Tots sessions for pre-schoolers.
