NATIONAL Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen will benefit from a charity night at Mrs Chippy's fish and chip shop on Friday night. If you have any items to be sold, take them along to the shop which will be open until midnight.

HEATH Singers Christmas Concerts will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, December 19 and 20, in the Methodist Church. As this is always very popular, make sure you get your tickets soon.

FOOTBALL and there were goals aplenty when the 1st XI beat Chalfont St Peter 5-3. Kevin Franklin scored a hat trick with Kenny Glasgow and Paul Catlin adding one apiece. The Reserves left it into extra time to secure a 2-2 draw with Reading Town, Tim Collins and Dave Mitchell being the goal scorers.

Don't forget the quiz in the Clubhouse tomorrow. For an entry fee of £2 per person, with a maximum team of six, you could win the £120 first prize or one of several other prizes.
