Coaches pass the test

TRAINERS at Winsford Cricket Club have passed a coaching exam.

Ant Ollier, James Tierney and Dave Etchells made the grade in the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Level Two assessment.

Meanwhile senior coach and first team opening batsman Martin Barrett is preparing to sit his Level Three paper.

"Our junior section is developing all the time," said Etchells.

"But there is always room for more players who will receive high quality coaching."

He hopes youngsters in the town will try their hand at the game.

Coaching sessions for U11s, U13s and U15s take place every Thursday at the club's Knights Grange home from 6.30pm.

For further information, call Martin Barrett on 07824 339682.
