Young minds hope to win older clients

TEENAGE entrepreneurs are enjoying success after setting up their own computer repair business.

James Hall, 18, and Michael Caffon, 17, established Wincomp four months ago and the company is starting to take off.

They run the business from James's grandparent's home in Delaisy Way, Winsford, and believe it has huge potential.

James said: "We have started this business ourselves without any help from adults because we don't want it.

"We are really good with computers so people can expect us to do an exceptional job.

"We have been interested in computers all our lives and there isn't very much we don't know."

James also believes they can offer better service than larger companies.

They can build computers to suit a customer's needs and put together packages to be delivered to homes.

He said: "Where many companies just drop off the computer and leave, we are more than happy to stay for a while and show our customer the computer and give some practical advice.

"Because we can give so much of our time to the customer and care so much about the service we are providing I think we will make a success of this."

The entrepreneurs are hoping people are not put off using Wincomp because of their age.

James said: "Some people may think that because we are young we don't really know what we are doing but they couldn't be more wrong.

"We know as much if not more than people sent out to repair computers for big companies but also offer great aftercare.

"Mike also does web design as well so there really isn't very much that we can't do.

"We love working with computers so we are determined to make this work."
